Tobey Nelson Events and Design hosts many different types of workshops.  From half-day sessions dedicated to single topics such as foam-free centerpiece construction or floral jewelry, to multiple day retreats with numerous instructors for floral and event professionals, there is something for everyone of all experience levels.  All of our workshops focus on skill building with an eye toward foam-free mechanics.  We always utilize the best in-season, locally-grown and American-grown flowers.  If there is a something you’d like to learn that you don’t see listed here, drop us a line!  We’re always interested in hearing new ideas!

Upcoming Workshops

Whidbey Flower Workshop 2020

This year is especially for the wedding specialists, though there is plenty here for any floral business.  As always, everything we cover will be from the perspective of Sustainable Floristry.   This year we are also placing emphasis on floral craftsmanship and some light design theory and color.  We will focus on bridal bouquets and installations.  Of course, we won’t overlook business topics!   We have 3 sessions on that: pricing, floral storytelling, and a juicy dive into Pinterest marketing.  As always, when Tobey is producing the workshop, there is no fluff – just precious, well-spent time crammed with information!
